Character Oak Mantle Beams | Air Dried Solid Oak, Rustic Log Burner Fireplace

Our Character Oak Mantle Beams are a timeless design, that fits the interior of both modern homes and traditional, they're perfect for a quality fireplace renovation.

Their character and stunning grain patterns add a clean, elegant feel to any fireplace.

We use high grade oak for our beams, handmade in our Cheshire based workshop, they feature small cracks and knots, but no large splits and damage, like some beams.

Our beams are available in a few standard sizes, but we can build to almost any size, just message and ask us!

Supplied complete with our rock solid fixings, suitable for solid walls or timber stud walls, beams pre drilled in the back to accept these, and everything you need is supplied, complete with instructions.

Beams are supplied sanded, with square edges and a slight bevel all round.

Notes:
Please be aware as oak is a natural product, each piece varies in terms of cracks, knots, colour and grain pattern. Beams sizes are approximate to +/- 5mm.

All of our oak beams are well air dried to ensures minimal movement once you install it in your home. As your oak fireplace mantel adjusts to your room temperature further cracks may appear which adds to the character. This is nothing to worry about. Please note that none of the above can be treated as defects.

Oak Beams are a combustible material. It is important the you position the beam a safe distance away from stoves, flues and other heat sources in line with building and HETAS regulations. Installing a beam to close to a heat source may cause excessive cracking and be unsafe.
